  • “Thank you again for the Community Organizing training you provided for our three nonprofits in Salt Lake City. The training was informative and meaningful and gave the participants a clear understanding of what it takes to create a successful and powerful organization with the skills to tackle pressing social justice, economic inequality and systemic poverty issues. I was especially impressed with your willingness and ability to target the training to the unique needs of each of the three groups. This was valuable for helping us to analyze our individual issues, set goals, and develop an action plan to achieve our goals.”

Rich Tuttle, Community Organizer, Crossroads Urban Center/PGNA

  • "The Organizing That Works experience has been immensely valuable for me, our organizer, and our families at Impact. Alicia and the training team are awesome - highly skilled with real-world experience. Beyond fast skill development, the collective impact of Organizing That Works is evident in the strengthened unity within school leaders and their teams in the sector. The shared knowledge and collaborative spirit fostered by OTW have created a community of passionate individuals working cohesively towards common goals. It is exciting to see this work begin to build a stronger and more united sector."

Jen Wickens, Co-Founder, Seminar and Co-Founder, Impact Public Schools

  • “Alicia is a great coach who introduced me to community organizing and played a pivotal role in helping develop a strong and effective advocacy team within my organization. In my role as director, the tools she provided were especially helpful in hiring and managing the first community organizer for our network. The organizing strategies she shared led to the formation of our parent leader committee, which currently conducts research meetings with elected officials and organizes in service of charter renewals. I definitely recommend her services!”
